Maganda ang pelikulang ito.

This was the first film where I saw Rosa del Rosario. And in all fairness, I was very much impressed with her performance. She was an all-natural. Her execution of her character was excellent, with whatever kind of scene she was in.

I was also wondering if she was also the one singing in the musical numbers? If she was, then that would complete my total admiration for her.

Aside from that, she and Rogelio dela Rosa looked very well on-screen. There's something with the two of them that makes them look so romantic, so unforgettable. Perhaps it's also with the fact that they were each other's first tandem with their first films. Dito ko na rin nalaman kung bakit naging "Queen of the Philippine Cinema" si Rosa, and she certainly deserved having that title.

Baduy? I don't think so.

Perhaps, for some, the word "old" is synonymous with "baduy" (or whatever equivalent English word there is).

That's true Sam... Very well said... I'm behind you 100 percent. Young moviegoers should be educated and be made to realize the value and importance of cinema in our culture and in our lives. Thanks Sam!

To the anonymous person/s who seems/ to maintain a noticeable attention to what I say:

If that's the case, at least I still have people within my league. Not only the three people here who expressed their positive insights, but the legion of many other Filipinos out there who never went tired in giving IMPORTANCE and RESPECT to the culture and tradition we used to have. What about you?

And besides, can't you think of any word to say aside from "baduy?"

Oh, well. No matter what you, or perhaps even other entity might say against these things, it will do nothing at all. Say what you want to say; I really don't have a control over that matter. The hell I care, anyway?

I agree with you Sam, if people have nothing good to say they should just be quiet and keep the comments to themselves... Seriously people just need to show respect... Shame on this person and knowing that he/she is filipino themselves... why you freaking hating your own culture and tradition... you should even be proud of it...
