THE PINOY GANGSTER MOVIES OF THE 60s # 2: AMADO CORTEZ

Amado Cortes, probably one of the most underrated actors in Philippine Movies, appeared in countless so-called Pinoy Gangster movies in the 60s. Asiong Salonga (1961), the movie that made Joseph Estrada a big star, started the trend resulting into slew of these genre movies, among them, the true-to-life story of notorious underworld characters like "Kadiong Ngiti" and "Adiong Sikat."
